The Dune chair was initially designed as part of the renovation project for the Le Parlementaire restaurant at Quebec’s National Assembly. The success of the chair’s distinctive backrest, carved from a solid block of wood to resemble the sweeping crest of a sand dune, led to the development of a full collection of seating inspired by the same design concept. Vaste now offers two chair styles, a stool, and a bench.

Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe, and avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish. You can maintain the finish by periodically cleaning with a coat of Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner, which will help to keep the wood looking its best. If the finish is scratched, you can sand it lightly with a fine-grit sandpaper and then apply a thin coat of Osmo Polyx Oil.
